About The Bush School of Government and Public Service, Texas A&M University

Founded in 1997, the Bush School of Government and Public Service is a professional graduate school of Texas A&M University that offers a Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) degree or a Master’s in International Affairs (MPIA) degree. A non-partisan institution dedicated to defining excellence and nurturing future leaders in the noble ideals of public service, its mission is to prepare principled leaders for government and public service, conduct research, and perform service.

Highly ranked nationally among graduate schools, the school is an exciting, rapidly growing, continually transforming educational institution, inspiring students to a lifetime of service in professional careers in public and international affairs. It brings together talented students, a distinguished faculty, leading edge educational programs, superb leader development, strong staff support, modern facilities and technology, robust benefits, amenities and resources, creating a unique learning environment. The School is home to three research institutes: The Institute for Science, Technology, and Public Policy; the Scowcroft Institute for International Affairs, and the Mosbacher Institute for Trade, Economics, and Public Policy. Five graduate certificates are offered: Advanced International Affairs, Homeland Security, Nonprofit Management, National Security Affairs, and China Studies.
